I am a sucker for a good font! Comic Sans makes me a little twitchy and I have been known to make a judgement on a movie based on the font used in the opening credits, much to Mr. Antipodean Love's frustration! When we went through our recent re-brand the font that we would use on the logo involved a great deal of umming and ahhing. It was quite comical when I look back on it now but I really wanted the font to embody and represent our new direction and look. I feel that we did that and I still smile now when I see the logo, a good font does that to me. So I think you get it, I am a font snob and proud to admit it.
Pinterest really satisfies my font addiction. One of my boards "Word Love" is full of positive affirmations and quotes but it is the font that more than likely draws me into the image. I also have a real thing for the colour pink. With two little pink obsessed mini me's it has well and truly rubbed off.
When I spotted the über talented Sarah Walden's design on the interwebs it was font love at first sight. I contacted this lovely lady and got her awesome wares in store. The vibrant and bold typography is sensational. The Tales At Sea typography range combines hand and brush-lettering with Scandinavian design. This makes each design unique and very special. She is a clever clogs that Sarah, and I am loving her style. Case in point in the image below, just take a moment to soak up that typography goodness.
My name is Kate and I am a font snob!
