So it is already mid June (scary stuff!) and I am finally having a brief reflective moment on my most recent round of #7vignettes with the awesome Interiors Addict. To tell you the truth I was not even going to do it this month but the fabulous @mintandfizz convinced me at the last moment, afternoon tea was snapped and the games begun!
To make life easier on yourself you should probably have a few pics up your sleeve as doing it off the cuff every day can be a little stressful but hey I like living life on the edge! The list does come out a few days earlier and some clever clogs I am sure have them all sorted before the month even begins! You can read all the deets how it rolls here.
My little ladies love getting involved, they are 3 and 5 and totally into the pic taking caper. My three old often tells me "it is good light for a photo Mummy" and for day four of this month "colour" she wore rings to make it "more interesting in the photo".
I often wonder about this work at home gig, I love it but boy oh boy it is tricky at times. I also wonder what my little ladies pick up with me working at home, late nights working, packing up orders and helping me at the post office. I also have to remind myself that I chose to do this for a reason, to spend more time with my little ones and to enjoy these crazy younger years. This month's vignettes series certainly reminded me of that, to slow down and enjoy a quiet afternoon tea with whichever little piglet was around. Sometimes we are so busy creating a life that we forget to live one.
