I love my food (probably a little too much to be honest) so I was very excited to hear about Good Food Ballarat. It runs throughout the month of November celebrating the regions venues, menus, chefs and producers.
You can view the Good Food Ballarat guide here I have had a good look through and for Team Antipodean Love I am loving the look of the Family Hawkers Market and brunch at Vegas and Rose our favourite cafe in Ballarat. If I wasn’t on my no sugar gig I also think that the New York High Tea at Round The Way New York Bakeshop would be delish. They have Redskin (amazing old school lolly) macarons made in store, need I say anymore!?!
I may even try and wrangle a date night with Mr. Antipodean Love for the A Taste of Ballarat – Degustation Dinner This dinner looks pretty freaking spectacular in its self but the icing on the cake is Stefano de Pieri! I have always wanted to eat at Stefano’s in Mildura and this may be the closest that I will get to doing so for a little while.
So get booking if you are in this part of the woods. Word on the street is that a few events have already sold out.
